Welcome to the Site!
First off, I would like to welcome you to NetDragonArchfiend32's Yu-Gi-Oh! site! I am a Yu-Gi-Oh! and a former Cardfight! Vanguard player, and my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are Red Dragon Archfiend, along with the two Synchro Monsters that use him as a Synchro Material Monster: Majestic Red Dragon and Red Nova Dragon.
The first and primary purpose of this site is to educate players who are new to the Yu-Gi-Oh! or returning from hiatus; to give them a good understanding of the basics of the game structure and, to some extent, assist them in the construction of their decks and as they explore these games and determine for themselves what is "their deck". The website is designed, more or less, to give new players or returning players information about how to play the game as comprehensively as possible. Translation: This website will help include as much information as possible to help you best understand the game without forcing you to learn how every single card works but allows you to play at a local tournament or regional competition without you having to ask your opponent/judge how each card can be used.
Throughout time I will add articles going into some specifics about the game; some will be ones that are essential to understanding the basics of the game and how its played properly, others will be useful if you are planning on going to a Konami sanctioned tournament, while others may be something that doesn't have a particular impact on game play but is interesting nonetheless (e.g. Card Rarities).
All words in this color can be found with a definition in the glossary.
Please leaves any comments, questions or requests using the contact form below. It would help the site a lot to know what you guys hope to see on this site and what would help you learn about the game to get you to the next stage of your dueling performance/career.
To pass long advise I have found from other people very much involved in the competitive dueling world, I have made a Resource Page to help bring that advice to you (TBD).
Also, for those looking to take a break from the meta or are looking for a fresh deck idea, I have a short list of some unique concepts I have encountered right here.
